Celebrating Wesak Day at Yaku Pagoda

A worship event of an ancient pagoda in Kalasin, Thailand is held annually ahead of the Wesak Day celebrations.
Some 500 female dancers donned in traditional Thai costumes danced at the Phatad Yaku, or Yaku Pagoda, during the recent celebrations.
The building contains relics of highly revered monks who lived some 1,200 years ago when it was first built.
