Chief Justice: Consider community service instead of imprisonment

Chief Justice Richard Malanjum wants judges and magistrates to consider meting out punishments in the form of community service for lesser offences instead of putting offenders in prison, saying that the move could also help reduce overcrowding in prison.
The Chief Justice said this after officiating the Legal Year 2019 on Friday.
