Childcare centre founder, manager plead not guilty to operating without licence

The founder and manager of a Shah Alam childcare centre pleaded not guilty in the Magistrate's Court on Wednesday (April 22) to charges of operating without valid registration approval from the Social Welfare Department.
Datin Nor Fadilah Alias, 36, and manager Nurrul Farhana Ramlee, 33, each face two separate charges under the Childcare Centre Act 1984, carrying a maximum fine of RM10,000, up to two years jail, or both.
