China envoy: Bandar Malaysia finally takes off despite going through ‘zigzags’

At a ceremony that saw the presentation of a RM1.24bil cheque to TRX City Sdn Bhd for the Bandar Malaysia project on Tuesday, China Ambassador to Malaysia Bai Tian said the project had gone through some “zigzags” with the settlement of the deposit to secure a 60% stake from the project owner TRX City Sdn Bhd.
However, he said despite the hardships, the project had finally been in motion and ready for its first phase of development in early 2021.
