China's foreign trade up 1.3% amid tariff war, US says electronics under separate tariffs

The Chinese government on Monday (April 14) said it is diversifying its market and looking for other trading partner countries, as it grapples with a tariff war with the United States.
Meanwhile, the US clarified that imports of smartphones, computers and some other electronics into America were not granted exemptions under its reciprocal tariff announcement on April 2 but will come under a separate tariff sector.
