Chinese PM: China has always been transparent in fighting Covid-19

China is willing to continue working with the World Health Organisation (WHO) and other nations on tracing the origins of Covid-19, said Chinese Premier Li Keqiang.

Speaking at a press conference after the closing of the fourth session of the 13th National People's Congress on Thursday, Li said China has always acted in a fact-based manner with an open, transparent and cooperative approach.

He also said China and the United States have common interests in many areas and should strive for healthy ties.

The US confirmed Secretary of State Antony Blinken will meet top Chinese diplomats Wang Yi and Yang Jiechi in Alaska next week.
