Chinese villages get RM9mil for solar-powered LED lights

The Local Government Development Ministry (KPKT) has approved RM9.018mil for the installation of solar-powered LED lights in 120 Chinese villages.
Local Government Development Minister Nga Kor Ming said after his visit to Pulau Ketam on Friday (July 14) that the installation of the allocated LED sets is the first phase, which will involve Perak, Selangor, Kelantan, Pahang and Johor, while four other states are under review.
