After a 10-year wait, plans of constructing SJK (C) Choon Hwa in Lembah Maju, Ampang have been rejected yet again by the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ).
The council reasoned that the total land size for the proposed site was 3.6ha but building plans only covered an area of 1.2ha.
They were rejected because it did not state what the remaining land area would be used for.
Deputy Education Minister Datuk Chong Sin Woon described the rejection as “unreasonable”.
