Concerns over steep access road

Kam Kian Eng is a local who has been running a motorcycle repair shop in Labis, Johor for the past 15 years.
Now he constantly lives in fear as a temporary access road being constructed for the 192km double-tracking rail project between Gemas and Johor Baru is too close to his shop.
The Star had previously highlighted that the project had raised concerns that Labis town will be bypassed due to changes in the road alignment.
