Cops: KLIA shooting suspect was in midst of divorce, had criminal record

The suspect who shot a bodyguard at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1 on Sunday (April 14) and his intended target were in the midst of a divorce, according to police.

At a press conference at KLIA on Sunday (April 14), Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department (CID) director Comm Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain also said the suspect, identified as Hafizul Harawi, had previously been under police investigation.
