Cops ready to issue compounds to MCO violators, but waiting for official decision

Bukit Aman accepts the government's policy to issue compound notices to those who violate the movement control order (MCO) as it is in accordance with Section 25 of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Disease Act 1988.
Bukit Aman CID director Comm Datuk Huzir Mohamed said if issuing compounds is effective in getting a higher compliance to the MCO then it might the best action.
