Cops to take action against eight who did not respect national anthem

Bukit Aman CID D5 principal assistant director Senior Asst Comm Mior Faridalatrash Wahid on Monday said the group, who refused to honour and stand when the “Negaraku” was played, will face imprisonment and fine, if convicted.
He said this when asked to comment on a video clip showing eight individuals who refused to stand for the national anthem at a fundraising event in Sarawak last week.
