Court allows 11 witnesses in ex-spy chief’s trial to be held in camera

The Kuala Lumpur High Court on Tuesday (Oct 6) allowed the prosecution’s application to have 11 of its 37 witnesses in the trial of former Malaysian External Intelligence Organisation (MEIO) director-general Datuk Hasanah Abdul Hamid to testify in camera.
Judicial Commissioner Ahmad Shahrir Mohd Salleh said he allowed the application in the interest of national security.
