Court denies Isa Samad passport for umrah

The Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court has denied an application by former Felda chairman Tan Sri Mohd Isa Abdul Samad seeking a temporary release of his passport to perform umrah.
Sessions Court judge Azura Alwi said there was no urgency for Mohd Isa to perform umrah in February.
On Dec 14, Mohd Isa claimed trial to a charge of criminal breach of trust and nine counts of receiving graft involving more than RM3mil.
