Court dismisses Zahid Hamidi’s application claiming charges against him are framed

The Kuala Lumpur High Court on Monday dismissed Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s application to challenge the constitutionality of MACC Act, Anti-Money Laundering Act 2001, which the Umno president had claimed that the charges against him are framed.
The former Deputy Prime Minister is facing 47 charges including 12 for criminal breach of trust, eight for bribery and 27 for money laundering
involving tens of millions of ringgit belonging to Yayasan Akalbudi.
