Court of Appeal upholds decision in favour of cameraman hurt in 2016 Penang Bridge shooting

The Court of Appeal upheld an earlier decision in favour of RTM cameraman Mohamad Amirul Amin Mohamed, granting him RM114,470 in compensation for being injured in a shooting at the Penang Bridge in 2016.
The court had dismissed the appeal by security company GMP Kaisar Security Sdn Bhd, whose then employee, bodyguard Ja’afar Halid shot Amirul and seven others.
