Court to decide on Nov 28 over Tanjung Manis PKR branch polls

PKR secretary-general Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said the party has applied to set aside an injunction brought by one of the candidates contesting in the Tanjung Manis branch elections in Sarawak.
Speaking in a press conference following the party’s central leadership council meeting on Sunday, he added that the date for hearing has been set on Nov 28.
Party elections were disrupted on Nov 3 after a court order was obtained by one of the contestants - Francis Bujang - who applied to get an order that the ballot paper must include the names of all those who were said to be wrongly left out from participating in the polls.
