Court to hear forfeiture notice amendment bid against Jho Low's dad on July 24

The government is seeking to amend a forfeiture notice issued against Tan Sri Larry Low Hock Peng, the father of fugitive businessman Low Taek Jho, in its bid to recover more than RM48mil said to be linked to 1Malaysia Development Bhd from Low's accounts.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Mohamad Nuzul Azuar Zulkifli told the press on Tuesday that the prosecution would be applying for a time extension to file submissions for the amendment to the forfeiture notice.
He said High Court judge Justice Mohamed Zaini Mazlan had fixed July 24 to hear the submissions.
