Covid-19: 36 new cases, no deaths for first time in a month

Malaysia reported no Covid-19 deaths on Monday (April 20), the first time in a month.
The country also reported 36 new Covid-19 cases, the lowest daily increase since the movement control order (MCO) was implemented on March 18.
It is also the fourth day in a row where new infections have been in double digits.
This takes the country’s total number of confirmed cases since the pandemic began to 5,425.
At the Health Ministry’s daily Covid-19 media briefing, Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also announced that Malaysia has discharged 98 more patients as of 12pm Monday.
