Covid-19: Another 89 clusters reported in one week, 13,944 new cases on Tuesday

A total of 89 new clusters were reported in the fifth epidemiological week (ME) from Jan 30 to Feb 5, bringing the total number of active clusters to 353, says Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham.
The Health director-general said a total of 43,062 new Covid-19 cases were recorded from Jan 30 to Feb 5, a 34.7% increase compared to the previous week, added that there was however an 8.1% decrease in the number of deaths.
Meanwhile, 13,944 new infections and 17 new clusters were identified were reported as of 12 noon on Tuesday.
