Covid-19: Antibodies of recovered patients cannot guarantee immunity

When asked on the international reports that the antibodies produced during the first infection does not provide enough protection from a second infection, Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said it was possible because the antibodies generated were not enough.
The Health DG said that on Sunday, adding that as such, recovered Covid-19 patients were given proper counselling before they are discharged to avoid reinfection.
