Covid-19: Conditional MCO can be lifted if Malaysia 'flattens the curve', says Health DG

The conditional movement control order (MCO) imposed in most states until December can be shortened if Malaysia manages to “flatten the curve” of Covid-19 infections, says the Health Ministry.
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said that during the ministry’s Covid-19 press briefing on Monday (Nov 9), adding that under the current Covid-19 wave which began late September, the virus has spread within the community and therefore, this requires extra precaution and people need to live with the virus and adapt to survive, and prevent ourselves from being infected.
