Covid-19 fund has received RM40.2mil in donations, here’s where the money is going

Of the RM40mil collected for the Covid-19 Fund, about RM25mil has been channelled to Yayasan Kebajikan Negara and the Women, Family and Community Development Ministry in aid of the needy.
Senior Minister (security cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said that on Saturday, adding that part of the fund had been disbursed to eligible Malaysians who were forced to remain under quarantine for 14 days (RM1,400 each) and to the next-of-kin of those who died of Covid-19 (RM5,000 each).
