Covid-19: Hospitals nearing limit as number of infections rises

Covid-19 hospitals and low-risk treatment centres are nearing its limit as the number of infections continues to rise, says the Health Ministry.
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said that on Monday (Jan 4), adding that the country’s hospitals could accommodate 23,000 patients at a time but the number of active cases in the country has reached 22,089 currently.
