Covid-19: Interview with Wuhan lab at the centre of controversy

In a recent interview with China’s CGTN and CCTV, Wang Yanyi, the director of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, debunked theories and claims that the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) originated from its lab.
She said though the institute had been researching on the SARS, RaTG-13 and other coronaviruses over the years, it had never been exposed to or had any knowledge of the SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) as claimed.
