Covid-19: Major spike as 28 new cases recorded on March 6

Malaysia has detected 28 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, the biggest daily increase recorded to date.
Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, in a statement on Friday, said the new cases were detected among patients-under-investigation, close contacts and those involved in humanitarian aid missions.
He added that the Covid-19 situation in Malaysia is at the early containment level.
