Covid-19: New cases linger above 3,000 for fourth day in a row

For the fourth consecutive day, new Covid-19 cases breached past the 3,000 mark, with 3,251 new infections on Saturday (Jan 8).
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also said there were 3,161 recoveries and two new clusters over the 24-hour span.
