Covid-19: No more fines, straight to court for those who breach quarantine

Those who violate the Covid-19 quarantine will no longer be fined but brought to court instead, said Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob on Thursday.
The Senior Minister’s announcement comes after the owner of a nasi kandar restaurant linked to the Sivagangga cluster has been jailed five months and fined RM12,000 after he pleaded guilty for defying a quarantine order.
