Covid-19: Number of active cases in M'sia on the decline, 14 fatalities on Tuesday

The number of active Covid-19 cases in the country has decreased by more than 40% since two weeks ago, says the Health Ministry.
Malaysia recorded 2,468 new infections and discharged 4,055 patients on Tuesday (Feb 23), which means that there are 30,475 active cases at present.
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said in a statement on Tuesday (Feb 23) that the total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases is now at 288,229 and fourteen more people died due to the coronavirus as at noon on Tuesday.
