Covid-19: Quarantine period now only 10 days, M’sia records 1,229 new cases, four new deaths

Malaysia recorded 1,229 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday (Dec 13), bringing the total number of infections to 83,475.
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said in the 24-hour span, four people died from the infection while 1,309 patients recovered.
The Health Ministry also detected six new clusters in Labuan, Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Johor, Negeri Sembilan and Pahang.
Meanwhile, the quarantine period for overseas travellers has been shortened to 10 days from 14, starting Dec 14.
