Covid-19: Record high recoveries, 3,346 new cases, 11 fatalities

A total of 3,346 new Covid-19 were recorded on Sunday (Jan 24), bringing the total infections to 183,801.
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said in a statement that there were 11 fatalities over the 24-hour span, bringing the death toll to 678 cases or a fatality rate of 0.37%.
There was some relief with 4,427 patients discharged, which is the highest yet, bringing total recoveries to 141,446.
