Covid-19: Senior Minister updates on SOP for childcare centres, teachers returning to school

The Health Ministry would be holding further discussions with the Women, Family and Community Development Ministry on coming out with Standard Operating Procedures regarding the reopening of the taska (nurseries), said Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
Ismail said that at his Covid-19 update on Saturday, adding that the detailed guideline will be issued soon as both parents are resuming work following the conditional movement control order, hence the need to send their children to childcare.
On public school teachers in some states asked to return to work, the senior minister said those involved should report for work if they are directed to do so even though schools still have not reopened.
Ismail explained that the Education Ministry has issued a directive for teachers to resume work over the need for preparations.
