Covid-19: There are enough hospital beds in Sabah for now, says Health DG

The Health Ministry believes it has enough hospital beds to treat the rising number of Covid-19 cases in Sabah as recovery rates are just as high.
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said as of 10pm on Thursday (Oct 29), nine out of 24 government hospitals in Sabah have been designated as Hybrid Covid-19 hospitals which will treat both Covid-19 and other illnesses.
The nine hospitals currently have 1,007 beds for Covid-19 patients with an occupancy rate of 77%.
