Covid-19 vaccination: 1,000 GPs joined in June, more PPVs to open, says Health Minister

General practitioners (GPs) administering the Covid-19 vaccine under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (NIP) have administered 110,000 doses of the vaccine as of the end of June - about 30,000 more doses than the initial daily target, says Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba.
The Health Minister said that when presenting the Peka B40 2019-2020 report on Tuesday (July 6), adding that the company also hit its target of getting 1,000 GPs involved in the NIP at the end of June.
Dr Adham said ProtectHealth also started other vaccination centres (PPV) models including PPVs at specialist clinics and private hospitals.
