Covid-19 Watch: 80% of those brought in dead were never tested

About 80% of the country’s brought-in-dead (BID) cases are individuals who had never been tested for Covid-19, the Health Ministry said.
Health deputy director-general (public health) Datuk Dr Chong Chee Kheong said that on Friday (Aug 6), adding that a large number of them were also foreigners.
Dr Chong also said Covid-19 patients under home quarantine will be monitored through the ministry’s virtual Covid-19 Assessment Centres (CAC) to see if they develop Covid-19 warning signs.
