Covid-19 Watch: More curbs to be eased once kids are vaccinated, says Khairy

More relaxations of Covid-19 curbs including the easing of border controls and travel requirements will be introduced once the booster immunisation programme reaches a satisfactory level, said Khairy Jamaluddin.
The Health Minister said that at the launch of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids) at Hospital Tunku Azizah in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday (Feb 3), and added that the ministry was still deciding on the best vaccination take up rate where the country could start opening up.
Khairy said the Health Ministry will adopt a careful approach in terms of reopening the economy, and will make "significant changes" to the quarantine requirements for Covid-19 positive cases.
