Cross border window is now closed, violators will be punished, says minister

Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob on Friday explained that the leeway permitting those stranded in their hometowns to cross borders has expired and that things are now “back to normal”.
He said police have begun setting up roadblocks near major tolls along highways nationwide to enforce the conditional movement control order.
He said those found flouting the law will be punished.
