Cuti-Cuti Malaysia carnival boosts east coast tourism ahead of VM2026, says Rafidah

The Star Karnival Cuti-Cuti Malaysia held from Sept 19-21 at Kuantan City Mall is a sign of Malaysia's preparedness for Visit Malaysia Year 2026 (VM2026) which is just less than four months away.
During the launch of the carnival on Saturday (Sept 20), Tourism Malaysia's domestic and events division senior director Datin Rafidah Idris said the carnival provides direct exposure to the local community for industry players, which could help boost domestic tourism.
