Dam in Phichit expected to be completed by 2019

The construction of a medium-sized dam to prevent drought has commenced in Phichit, Thailand and is expected to be completed by 2019.
It will store water from the Yom River which has tributaries in several nearby provinces in northern Thailand.
The dam, which has a budget of Bt231mil (US$6.7mil), will have a reservoir that is 13 metres deep and 72.5 metres long.
