‘Datin’ who abused maid issued final warning for not appearing in court four times in a row

Rozita Mohamad Ali, the Datin housewife who made headlines for grievously hurting her Indonesian maid in 2016 and sentenced to eight years jail, was slapped with a final warning by the Court of Appeal on Monday (July 20) for failing to appear in court for the fourth consecutive time.
Judge Datuk Seri Kamaludin Md Said, who led a panel of three judges, said the court would not compromise with Rozita who always gave asthma and knee pain as an excuse for her absence.
