Datuk Seri in Rela assault case remanded; MACC to probe allegations

The "Datuk Seri" who allegedly assaulted three People's Volunteer Corps (Rela) members has been remanded for four days from Tuesday to help with investigation. The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) will look into allegations that the suspect had offered his three victims RM10,000 each as hush money, said Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
