Defence ministry to request for more allocations for White Paper to take off

Shortly after the Defence White Paper (DWP) was passed in Parliament on Monday, Defence minister Mohamad Sabu told a press conference that his ministry would request at least 1% of the gross domestic product (GDP) annually as allocations for plans under the White Paper to take off.
The Defence Ministry was allocated RM15.6bil or 6.5% of Budget 2020.
