Deputy Speaker steps in after Opposition MP's poem on Sabah polls sparks tension in Parliament

The Dewan Rakyat saw a tense moment on Monday (Dec 1) when Datuk Seri Ikmal Hisham Abdul Aziz (PN–Tanah Merah) recited a poem about the recently concluded Sabah elections.
The poem prompted an immediate reaction from Khoo Poay Tiong (PH–Kota Melaka), who remarked that the same dismal outcome applied to Bersatu as well.
Deputy Speaker Datuk Ramli Mohd Nor, who was presiding over the session, intervened and warned MPs that they could be suspended if they violated the rules of the august House.
