Descendants of nation’s founding fathers leave mark on patriotic mural

The descendants of Tunku Abdul Rahman, Tun Tan Cheng Lock and Tun V. T. Sambanthan jointly left their palm prints on the 600-metre Patriotic Palm Print Mural at Jalan Genting Klang on Monday. MCA Deputy President Datuk Sri Dr Wee Ka Siong expressed his gratitude to Tunku’s granddaughter Sharifah Intan Syed Hussein and great-granddaughter Sharyn Lisa Shufiyan, Tan’s granddaughter Datin Paduka Tan Siok Choo as well as Sambanthan’s daughter Deva Kunjari for participating in the project held in conjunction with the 60th National Day celebration.
