Devotees will take Wesak Day celebrations online this year

Buddhists in Malaysia will once again observe Wesak Day in a closed-door manner amid new norms under the conditional movement control order (MCO) period.

In his Wesak Day message, Malaysia’s Buddhist chief high priest Datuk K. Sri Dhammaratana who is based at the Buddhist Maha Vihara in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur has urged all Malaysians to be united in this fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
