Dilapidated schools: Lack of funds causing upgrade delays, says PAC

Some dilapidated school buildings have remained unrepaired for as long as 12 years as the Education Ministry lacked funding, and had to prioritise other schools that were more in need, says the Public Accounts Committee (PAC).
PAC chairman Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin told reporters at the Parliament media centre on Thursday (March 21) that the PAC had put forward four recommendations for the ministry to achieve and report to the committee within two months time.
