Discussion of 3R (race, religion, and royalty) issues is permissible but must be conducted with decorum, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
The Prime Minister, speaking at Universiti Malaya on Saturday (Sept 21), emphasised the importance of addressing societal issues on campus through informed discourse, grounded in academic research and writings by scholars and social justice advocates, such as the late Professor Dr Syed Husin Ali.
At a memorial event to remember Syed Husin, who passed away on June 29, Anwar noted that while the late professor raised 3R issues throughout his life, he did so with humility and respect, even as he championed social justice causes.
