An orphaned monkey and a dog residing at a Buddhist temple in Mukdahan, Thailand are adored by the locals, with the duo showing loyalty to the temple monks and are best friends with one another.
The monkey, named Clash, and the dog, Songkhram (War), travel with a group of monks during their morning alms-receiving walk, with the male monkey often riding on the back of the male dog.
When Clash and Songkhram were in Laos, Clash was orphaned at a young age when his mother was shot dead, turning to stay intimate with Songkhram, who was a puppy, ever since.
The two two-year-olds moved from Laos to Thailand over a year ago after accompanying a group of Lao monks who entered Thailand during a trip, and never went back to their birthplace.
