Don’t break the law, Saifuddin reminds public after suspected arson case

After a suspected arson case involving Beruas MP Datuk Ngeh Koo Ham, Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail advised Malaysians not to take actions that are against the law.
During a press conference at the Home Ministry on Wednesday (Jan 10), Saifuddin reminded Malaysians that “reckless actions” can lead to severe punishments, and reiterated that public safety is guaranteed because this is the number one commitment of the police.
Meanwhile, Saifuddin urged Malaysians not to speculate on the matter, as it could disrupt ongoing police investigations.
