Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail on Sunday said the Saturday’s balloon explosion incident was probably due to the use of helium that has been mixed with other gases to reduce cost.
Dr Wan Azizah, who is also Women, Family and Community Development Minister, reminded the public not to smoke or use a lighter near helium gas-inflated balloons at any event.
16 people were rushed to the hospital after gas-inflated balloons used as props for a fitness event exploded in Dataran Putrajya on Saturday.
